Old habits die hard. And I plan on murdering someone before the night is through.

Oh, I don't think the mission will be easy, but turns out it's a bit more problematic than expected. The bitch knows I'm coming for her. So now I'm up against the army of lethal bounty hunters she hired to track me down. She also put a price on my baby sister's head. Keeping Bria safe is my first priority. Taking Mab out is a close second.

Good thing I've got my powerful Stone and Ice magic - and my irresistible lover Owen Grayson - to watch my back. This battle has been years in the making, and there's a chance I won't survive. But if I'm going down, then Mab's coming with me... no matter what I have to do to make that happen.

Breaking News...

Hmmmmm....Jennifer Crusie's blog post.

In case you're too lazy to click, I just 'learned' that Sarah Wendell (Smart Bitches, Trash Books) eats pie at business meetings. There is even a mention of cheesecake. Now, I don't know about you but I'm stunned. STUNNED, I tell you. I now question Ms. Wendell's integrity as a reviewer. After all, what if she eats cheesecake then goes on to read and review a book? She'd be under the influence of creamy goodness while reading. She might actually think that glowing vampires are perfectly acceptable all because of the sugar high. I demand, DEMAND, full disclosure of Ms. Wendell's dessert habits.

Harem Hall of Fame - Humphrey Bogart

Humphrey Bogart

My first experience with Humphrey Bogart was when I was young and naive. My mom had quite the collection of black & white movies and one that she watched quite often was "Sabrina." Now, I'm sad to admit that, at the time, I merely scoffed and left the room when she would put dear old Bogie on the tv screen. It wasn't until years later when I was home sick for the flu for several days and had gone through all our other movies that desperation hit and I started on the B&W collection.

I fell in love with Bogie that day.

"Sabrina" had been the movie to be popped in and I immediately zeroed in on Linus Larrabee, not even giving David Larrabee (played by William Holden) a second look. It was no contest; Bogie stole your attention with his charisma the second he was on screen.

Harem: In Training - Zac Efron

Zac Efron

He's adorable and looking like he's only going to get sexier as he gets older. Now, In Training just means that 'some' of us would go cougar for him (and we consider cougar anything over 15 years age difference; puma is 10-14 yrs difference, hahahahahaha)

Harem Hall of Fame - Gregory Peck

Gregory Peck.

The first movie I remember watching him in was Guns of Navarone (way, way, way after it was released in the theaters mind you) and thinking, wow, he's cool. The cool went to striking to omfg the charisma of that man jumps out of the screen and grabs you even when he is a reserved Southern lawyer trying to raise to children in the 1930s (To Kill a Mockinbird - one of my all time favs, both book and movie). There is just something about Peck, in my opinion, that personifies the strong silent type of his generation.
