When the Demon bargains for one night of her pleasure...no one loses.

One tiny glimpse of the rage in Amara and the absolutely sexless way she endures his sensual touch, and Vetis has his challenge. He'll make this woman enjoy the carnal pleasures of sex.

The bargain is struck. One night. Of HER pleasure. And the debt will be paid.

Ill-used by her husband, Amara believes she is doomed, for she has no pleasure within her, her innocence forfeit long ago. But as Amara's body awakens with sinful desires and carnal longings, hope begins to blossom that pleasure is within her reach.

Demons never fail and the challenge is on. Vetis knows with the right sensual persuasion the debt will be paid in pleasure, however he doesn't bargain on falling in love.

Word/Page Count: 384 pages

I'm no coward. I want to make that perfectly clear. But after my life turned into a horror movie, I take fear a lot more seriously now. I finally became Dr. Carrie Ames just eight months ago. Then I was attacked in the hospital morgue by a vampire. Just my luck.

So now I'm a vampire, and it turns out I have a blood tie to the monster who sired me. The tie works like an invisible leash and I'm bound to him no matter what I do. And of course he's one of the most evil vampires on earth. With my sire hell-bent on turning me into a soulless killer and his sworn enemy set to exterminate me, things couldn't get much worse -- except I'm attracted to them both.

Drinking blood, living as an immortal demon and being a pawn between two warring vampire factions isn't exactly how I'd imagined my future. But as my father used to say, the only way to conquer fear is to face it. So that's what I'll do. Fangs bared.

Fairytale Fantasies, Book 2

In his quest to land her a rich husband, Gwyneth's father has gone one step too far and bragged to the king's steward. One kiss.

He returns the second night, and the third. With each sensual encounter, the stakes escalate along with her attraction to her mysterious visitor. Then he claims the ultimate price-her child-and she realizes too late she's made a deal with the king of the Underworld.

From the moment he kisses her, Ragnorak knows Gwyneth's child will be a worthy heir for his kingdom. But with each touch, he wants more. He wants her to be queen of his strangely beautiful world-and for her to want to stay. But that will mean giving her the ultimate weapon-the power of his name.

Gwyneth has only three chances to drive her demon lover over the edge of bliss. But when the stakes suddenly shift, it's Ragnorak who stands to lose everything . . .

A love for which even time stands still.

Graduate student Rebecca Small is so obsessed with the past—especially the Golden Age of Piracy—she doesn’t mind her unglamorous job preparing museum displays. This display is about her favorite subject, James Morrow, a famous pirate who mysteriously disappeared without a trace.

Becca touches the pirate’s antique sword, and finds herself on a ship in the middle of a sword fight, saving the sexy captain from being stabbed in the back—literally. Once the smoke clears, the man who claims he’s her husband is more than eager to reward her for her timely assistance.

James Morrow knows very little about the woman he was forced to marry five years ago, but the woman who saved him doesn’t fit the portrait he’s painted of her in his mind. She’s strong, brave, and submits to his every dark desire. She seems the perfect woman for a pirate, but he makes his living among the dishonest and disreputable—trust isn’t a commodity he trades in.

News: Barnes and Noble Releases Nook Tablet

Watch out, Kindle Fire. Looks like you might have some competition.

After weeks of speculation, Barnes and Noble announced this morning that they had their own addition to the lower price spectrum of the tablet market (yeah, iPad, I'm glaring and you and your $500 tag). The Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet is joining the market at $249 versus the Kindle Fire priced at $199.

So far, the reviews seem promising but, as it seems with all technology, time will tell. In the meantime, it's also worthwhile to note that both of Barnes and Nobles' other readers underwent a price drop, putting the Nook Color at $199 and the Nook Simple Touch at $99. We'll see if it's able to provide the competition to Amazon's $79 Kindle.

Personally, as an owner of a first-generation Nook, I continually lament the lack of 3G access on the new line of Nooks. Yes, I realize that, most of the time, you're going to be using your Nook at home with access to your wi-fi. However, I couldn't tell you how many times having 3G on my Nook has saved me from suffering through a book that just wasn't working by letting me go online and click on a new shiney pretty to entertain me while I'm away from home. Hint, hint, BN.
